Review by hotel critic
Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the attentive hostess, who made our check-in process seamless. The unit itself was well-maintained and equipped with essential amenities. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, an electric kettle, and dining facilities, providing a cozy setting for meals. The complimentary homemade biscuits on arrival were a thoughtful touch, enhancing the overall experience. I also appreciated the unit's quiet atmosphere and free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to unwind after a day's exploration. While the furnishings reflect a certain age, everything was clean, and the hosts' hospitality, including access to a BBQ area, adds intrinsic value. The presence of free parking and a nearby kahak canoeing opportunity made for enjoyable afternoons. In terms of its luxury versus value proposition, Beachside Unit stands out as an affordable getaway that does not compromise on comfort or service. For travelers seeking both relaxation and practicality, this hotel merits consideration.
